Twinkie producer Hostess Brands Inc. announced it would be closing down, thus ending its product line. The response to this snack apocalypse was swift. Facebook and Twitter were filled with comments bemoaning the loss of this creme-filled sponge cake. There has been a roaring sale of the Hostess products since the bankruptcy court’s pending decision to close it. The product sale is in fact rejuvenated.At this time the battle is still ongoing. Twinkie and its related product are of course an American love story and a success story which should not be allowed and decided in the chambers of courts. The public had already spoken that these products should continue in our culinary and social life.
